About
Nick Stork is the Founder and CEO of Conifer Infrastructure Partners, an investment and company-building platform focused on energy and critical materials. Initially established to manage family and personal capital, Conifer has since expanded to include select limited partners who share the firm’s disciplined approach to value creation. Under Nick’s leadership, Conifer builds scalable, repeatable businesses grounded in efficiency, ownership, and continuous improvement. A lifelong believer in responsible growth, Nick also co-founded Stork Impact Partners, a charitable foundation dedicated to education, environmental, and restoration initiatives across the United States. Before founding Conifer, Nick served as the Founder and CEO of Archaea Energy, which he grew from concept to the largest renewable natural gas producer in the world. Listed on the NYSE under ticker LFG, Archaea was sold to BP in 2022 for $4.1 billion. The company pioneered standardized RNG development and executed long-term partnerships with investment-grade counterparties such as FortisBC, Energir, and the University of California. Archaea’s Project Assai in Scranton, PA—the largest renewable natural gas facility globally—was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, generating over $40 million in EBITDA in its first year. Nick previously co-founded Noble Environmental, one of the largest waste and environmental services companies in the Mid-Atlantic, where he continues to serve as Chairman of the Board. His earlier career includes roles at Baleen Capital Management and Three Rivers Natural Resources, where he contributed to a $1 billion asset sale to Concho Resources.
